the earth tilts its face all the way toward the sun. the day is the longest the year will ever give. the shortest night follows.
people have noticed for a very long time. bonfires in the north. drumming on a beach in the south. crowns woven, meals taken outside, calendars built around this day.
we hold the room from afternoon to early morning, and try to do the day some justice.

a year ago we started gathering on solstices and equinoxes. this is the summer one. two stages, side by side. the night runs as a single arc.
a sound system under the sky. live sets layered with electronics, then djs through the deepest hours, then a closing set as the morning comes.
carpet concerts. low lights. live instruments, no laptops, nothing pre-recorded. a room to sit down and listen.

yes. doors open at sixteen-hundred and the beach is yours. if you book dinner, you can reserve a beach bed for the day. sun, sea, lunch, then the music begins around you.
doors at sixteen-hundred. terrace and market open at seventeen. the main floor opens at eighteen. the night runs as a single arc to two in the morning.
a swimsuit. a layer for after midnight, the wind drops cool. comfortable shoes for sand and wood deck. an open phone is not on the list. both spaces are phone-free.
dress to express. wear what makes you feel like yourself, only more.
yes. scream, stomp, spin, cry, wiggle. we have dancers from every genre and music from every corner. come exactly as you are.

not this time. lisbon is twenty minutes by car or taxi, and the night ends at two. caparica has guesthouses if you want to stay close to the sea.
