twenty minutes south of lisbon, the 25 de abril bridge ends on the other side of the tagus. the road bends west, past pine and umbrella trees, and finds the atlantic at costa da caparica. the wind here is steady. the light is wider than in the city. on a clear evening the cliffs hold heat from the sand long after the sun has gone.

aura sits on praia do infante, one of the quieter strips of this coast. wooden decks. a bar. a kitchen. a low room facing the ocean and a terrace that catches the last hour of every sunset. of all the venues on this shoreline, it is one of the few where the music actually reaches the sand.

for the longest day of 2026, gravity gathers at aura. open air electronic and ambient music. a main floor under the sky and a second room for listening. both phone-free. the longest sunset of the year unfolding behind the dance.

getting here. by car, twenty minutes from cais do sodré over the bridge, then west on the 377 toward costa da caparica · praia do infante. parking along the sand road. taxi from central lisbon is around fifteen euros. the seasonal beach train (transpraia) runs to within a short walk in summer.

the night. seventeen hundred to two. the terrace opens first. the main floor opens at eighteen. doors close after midnight. twenty-one and over, id at entry. cards and cash both fine at the bar.
